Another finished pencil drawing and a finished ink.

The pencil piece here is a more finished version of the one I did about a month ago.

The inked drawing was done yesterday, trying out new inks, nibs,brushes and papers.

These studies are most helpful in my process for finding the right materials. Next step is more studies in color!

Progress is best

Hello all! Here's the progress on the piece I am working on.

Step one of many

I had my great friend Laura model for this piece and I'm proud to say that this penciled piece looks more like her than the photo I took. Fierce with gorgeous features. Finishing up the pencils on this tonight. And to date that'll be 4 down and 16 to go!

More for the new series, keep in mind these will all be inked and painted soon.
