Here's a final version of one of the Feast series. I posted a pencil version earlier in the blog and finally had a chance to do this in ink and watercolor.
Born on the South East Side of Chicago, moved to Los Angeles in 2005. Illustrating ever since I can remember. My first memories are watching the train bridges go up and down and cranes loading and unloading the ships on the river, driving past the steel mills with their tall smoke stacks and big blast furnaces...so you see why I have a fond affection to industrial machinery...I started drawing at the breakfast table and in front of the TV watching cartoons....I did this everyday after school. Drawing to Rocky and Bullwinkle, Tom & Jerry, Voltron, etc.
Eventually, I took summer multi media art classes at the Art Institute of Chicago from 10 years old to about 12. I then worked summer gallery programs in downtown Chicago working in different mediums, I then took many a classes of illustration, painting, anatomy, etc. at Columbia College. I started working on independent comics and when I moved to L.A. I worked assisting Inker extraordinare Matt "BATT" Banning. I then worked on '13' penciling and inking. Then Black Cherry Bombshells in 2007 to present. My favorite medium is Ink.
